About Us

Motifé began with a very real, everyday need—
to carry less, and still have the essentials I need.

Living a city life, constantly moving between work, meetings, and commuting, I often found myself carrying multiple bags—a laptop bag, a handbag, and sometimes more—just to keep my essentials close.

All I really needed was my phone and my cards.
I wanted to move more freely.

After getting off the train at Hoboken station one morning, I realized I had left my wallet at home. I had my phone, so I thought I would be fine—but my phone battery had died, and I couldn’t use Apple Pay to buy a PATH ticket.

I was stuck.

With no way to get to the office, I went into a small store inside the station and explained the situation. The owner—someone I saw almost every day—trusted me and lent me $20. The next day, I returned the money and brought him a small gift.

That moment stayed with me.

It wasn’t just about forgetting my wallet.
It was about how easily things fall apart when everything you need is split across different places.

After that, I started looking for a phone case with a wallet attached. But everything I found felt too bulky, too formal, or not something I actually wanted to carry.

So I decided to design it myself.

Motifé is designed to bring function and ease together—
a phone case that holds what you need, while still feeling light, playful, and expressive.

Our first collection focuses on a wallet-attached phone case designed for everyday movement. With two separate pockets, it keeps your ID, transit card, and credit cards organized and secure—so you can move hands-free with confidence.

Design-wise, Motifé is built around patterns—motifs—to create something that feels bright, casual, and quietly joyful. Less formal, more personal. Functional, but still fun.

The first collection introduces our signature retro-colored polka dot motif.

We are currently developing the next chapter—a detachable wallet case with MagSafe compatibility—designed to give you even more flexibility in how you carry your essentials.
